Kid wakes up with amnesia and surrounded by beasts. Next thing he knows he's enrolled in the worlds most inhumane school, Cogs. Children of Genetic Science.
I have literally no idea whats going on!
Welp, this probably means that lurkers like me should come out of the blue.
Why would you think that your comic has no following? No one is really commenting on pages, but that just might mean that the 45 fans just aren't those type of people who want to comment on every single page. Maybe some of those 45 might not be following every single page or not checking up on the comic anymore and forgot to unfav, but I find it more likely than naught that most of them do actively follow and enjoy the comic.
As for Cogs, I've enjoyed it. You have a lot of interesting ideas and execute them well enough to keep readers like me and Flare the Ninetales on the other page interested. I find myself looking forward to pages to see what happens next.
If you have to cancel the comic, I'll be fine, it'll be disappointing but it's the author's, or your, choice if you want to continue it, and if you don't want to continue it, then you really shouldn't. If you have to put it on hiatus, I'll be fine, I could wait. If you have to end it in an unsatisfying way, it'll be fine, at least the comic gets an ending, and that's what counts at this point, right?
As for help with the ending, maybe you could try making a plot graphic organizer/diagram/triangle? It might help you try to figure out more details of the end, but I can't be so sure. Basically, I'd recommend trying to find out what the conflict overall is, when must that conflict be solved, and how must that be solved. (The Climax) Then just keep building until the conflict reaches the point where it must be solved. You probably already know all of this, but at least I could say I tried.
Anyways, sorry if this comment is terrible, I'm honestly not used to commenting on comics. I'll try to keep in mind to try to comment in the future, though.
@Pow Pow: Thank you, It's just frustrating for me to post things and get so little in response. My work means a lot to me, I want to be able make a living of things like this in the future. But more than that I suppose I just want confirmation that my work has become, well, good. Like I said in the first one, I've made comics before, comics that have made NO SENSE, and should probably be destroyed... If you look back at page one of COGS, there is a entirely different style used, and things have improved so much. IDK I guess I'm just insecure...
Taking hiatus on comics is a good way to let your mind rest and solve problems that once were. For instance. I took a 2 year hiatus off of one of my comics I have on dA 'cause I had NOOO idea where I was going with it. Then suddenly something clicked and I had the entire story at my finger tips.
Taking a break and backing away from the issue can often lead to resolution ^^ At least that's what happens with me *shrug*
@khalia602: Thank you, this comic will go on until CH8 ends, then its going on Hiatus. If more people commented how much they appreciated my work, then maybe COGS wouldn't have become such a burden on me.... The newest page will be up very soon. It always goes up at 5 PM US west coast time (GTM-8)
